ISCC-EU
The ISCC-EU certification is recognized by the European Commission and all 27 EU countries without restriction as a leading Sustainability System and Emissions of Greenhouse Effect Gases that meet the requirements of the Renewable Energy Directive (RED directive- Renewable Energy) of the European Union.
The ISCC provides greater safety for companies, since it takes into account indicators for social sustainability, with little or no additional cost.
The ISCC reflects a balanced representation of the interests of its various stakeholders and ensure the transparency of procedures, thereby giving greater credibility with the public opinion.
Certified since 2013 for Sustainability System for Used Cooking Oils for the production of biofuels (ISCC-EU), the Hardlevel – Energias Renováveis bet on a continuous and sustainable improvement of its services. An organization with a certificate under the ISCC can verify compliance with the legal requirements of sustainability in bioenergy markets and document the sustainability and traceability of raw materials for food, feed and chemicals.
The ISCC-EU states that Collection Points with less than 10 Ton of Used Cooking Oil (UCO) of monthly production and that provide them to a Waste Management Company, do not require an ISCC-EU certification, this being replaced by an Auto Declaration signed.
ISO 9001
The commitment to a continuous development of Hardlevel – Renewable Energies led in 2013 to the European Sustainability certification for Used Vegetable Oils used for the production of biofuels (ISCC-EU).
In order to promote continuous improvements in the Organization Model that is reflected in the quality and sustainability of the services provided, it was carried out at Hardlevel – Energias Renováveis in June 2015, an implementation according to the International Standards (ISO’s) of the Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and the Environment (ISO 14001). These were implemented taking into account the integration with the ISCC-EU Sustainability System.
ISO 9001 specifies requirements for a Quality Management System focused on the effectiveness of the system to meet the needs of customers, increasing their satisfaction as well as continuous improvement of the product and services provided.
ISO 14001
The Environmental Management Standard, ISO 14001, allows organizations to establish, implement, maintain and improve their environmental management system, as well as to ensure compliance with the Assumed Environmental Policy.
Developing and implementing Policies and Objectives inherent to an effective Environmental Management System allows achieving Environmental and Economic Objectives in a sustained manner, reducing the Organization’s Environmental Impact.
This integrated Quality, Environment and Sustainability System allows the company to increase its status as a reference in the Used Cooking Oils market and reinforces the resolve to maintain and strengthen all Company Quality parameters.
